Default Dang it Arthur

I think he is getting to me.All this talk about heavy arrows got me thinking (I Know, dangerous proposition)I decided to weigh my new arrows and sure enough,I am in the heavy category.Feathers and all.Of course, all things are relative.I am shooting 7.33 grains per pound but my arrows only weigh 389 grains.[]

I know Arthur, you wouldn't call that heavy but I have hunted with 320 grain arrows.[8D]

My new arrows are Axis FMJ's 500's(last years model)I am shooting them at 53#'s at a whopping 236 fps.

I tuned it in tonight with fixed blade broadheads and after my intial tune,I only needed about a 1/64 each direction on my rest to get my field points and broadheads hitting the same to 30 yards(didn't shoot further) and checked paper after and it was a bullet hole.

I really think these look pretty cool.

Looking good. (to take close pics, turn on the macro on your camera).

Arthur is slowly getting to some of us. He'd be proud.

As far as I know,Prime rib is still king.

The BBQ place that I told you about is open and better than ever now that it is rebuilt from the fire.As a matter of fact,I ate there tonight and still about ready to pop.Sliced ham tray with a side of mushrooms.[8D]
