2 things. The first kill of the yr goes to the dogs. The second I cut in 10" squares and hang them from a branch of a tree in my yard......... songbirds love the fat

I bone it off the ribs and grind it . it is very easy to do and you will get a couple lbs of meat from it . you could keep it together and make boneless ribs or jerky
JUst put your knife in along the rib and cut down then back up. I can bone the rib meat off in less than 2 min. guys give it a try don't wast it

I bury them let them rot, then I take them out and clean them , bleach them and put them on the wall! I got ribcages hanging everywhere! This year I am gonna make some wind chimes out of them![8D]

Sometimes I make ribs out of them.
My grandmother would always cook the ribs from anything we killed. Granted, it took a lot of ribs for a meal, but they sure were good. As a kid , my favorite part.
Nowadays, I am always in a hurry or too lazy. I don't mess with them. But one of these days I'll have to try them and see if I can replicate what my Grandmother did.
