I'm in suburban West Palm Beach.
I'm in Boynton. You don't see many yards like that here in South Florida. Very nice.

Now you need to set up a tree stand on the house.

Nice set-up. But like some others have said I'd have to have the buck behind the bush with only the vitals sticking out, a block through the trees on the left. Just genearlly mix up the view a bit so it's not so similiar shot after shot.

PS are Palm trees could for climbers??

Nice yard! How are you liking the black ice past 40 yards?

Once I get my pins sighted in, I will start playing around with the target locations like you said to add some variety. Regarding palm trees, the type you see in the woods are Palmetto or Cabbage palms, and they don't grow very high, so most guys use leaners under 15 feet on them. The palm fronds make an excellent background blind though, really hides you. We have tall pines and big oaks that most hunt from.

Haven't got that far yet. The deer target is at 40 yds in the pic and I did set one pin for 40 over the weekend and was able to put 3 arrows in the vitals first pass. The arrows flew good and didn't notice much arcing, but I expect that anything past 40 I will see more arcing as the Black Ice's aren't the fastest bows.

BTW, my Birth Certificate said the bow was 292 fps with a 300gr arrow at 61# and 29" DL, but the Huntersfriend test report that came with the bow showed only 263 fps with a 391 gr arrow at 60# and 29.5" DL.

That is an awesome range, I'm jealous.

Where do you hunt in south Florida? I used to live in Boca Raton and would drive up to Corbitt and out to Big Cypressto hunt, but never did any good. It was really hard without an ATV or a swamp buggy.

I can't say I miss hunting in that Florida heat.

I hunt DuPuis WEA when I can get a perrmit and a few quiet areas in Corbitt in S FLorida. Three Lakes is nice too up near Disney. I do the majority of my hunting in Southern Illinois though.
