Great story Greg. I always appreciate the candor in your stories. You do things your way and not "by the book" and make no bones about it.A lot of guys would change some littledetailsso asto avoid the wrath of the holier than thouers. You just tell it like it is and damn the torpedoes. I like that.
I totally agree with this post .... Great story and buck, Greg

God bless you guys thatcan drink that much coffee in the morning. If I hadone 20 oz. mug I'd be pooping from my treestand all morning. LOL
Uh .... thanks for the visual, Bry [:'(].................... LOL
Sorry Preach, but I've got that same candor as Greg. I call it how it is. That is a pretty funny visual though.
Remind me never to walk under your stand

Greatstory Greg, thanks for sharing. Do you rattle at all, or just use the grunt tube during that time period?
I rattle very little, I usually scare more deer than I call in...... I suck at it. [&o]

The crunchy snow / leaves tend to keep most hunters at home, which means less hunters / pressure in the woods.
I like the foul weather hunting, as long as your dressed for success, it can be a ball!

Good story!
As far as the coffee thing, that turns my butt into a wood chipper, enough said!

Great story!!! Trouble is when I read a good story, I can visualize everything like I am experiencing it myself. So now, even though I have not had any coffee today yet, I have to go to the bathroom. The coffee was black wasn't it? That stuff with the sweetners and cream in it causes my blood sugar to go up and I don't want to have to deal with that later.
