If you still have the serial number of the camera, report it stolen to Cuddeback as well.
From what I understand they verify all serial numbers on all cameras that are sent in for service.

Think about for a minute. If you, I, or anyone elsestole a camera off a tree somewhere where you or I weren't supposed to be would you go back there[&:]. Not in a NY minute would I for fear of getting caught, shot or my rear end handed to me. Burstupidt is asstupidt does. Personally, I don't think you will ever get the goods on the thief.
