Well guys... It almost worked out!
I was sittin in my tree stand for about 45 minutes when I hear crunch crunch chrunch there was somrthing comming towards me so I knocked an arrow equipted with a slick trick broadhead. Then I stood up in my tree stand.And it started walking againbut it was just out of sight. But it sounded like a deer but I kept watching anyways. Pretty soon I see this black thing working its way through the brush. So by then my heart is about beating out of my chest but it was still at about 60 yards out. Then it stepped out in the open and I could tell it was a mature blackbear and it appered to be working its way down the hill. I thought it would go down the hill to the trail and then come up the trail to get a drink of water. So then the thing walks down the hilland stops for about 8 seconds at 50 yards. I could have shot but I didn't wan't to take the shot sinceI was shaking so bad. So I passed up the shot but then instead of comming to the water it just walked streight down the hill and I never got a shot off. But it seemed pretty good for the first time out! I hope I have better news tommarow!
