Octopus - Same Buck?

Default Octopus - Same Buck?

I sent these trail camera pics from the other day to the guys on the team and Ty responded to me reminding me of the buck that he had videoed the fall of 2006 that looked a lot like this buck. He videoed him probably about 2 miles away from where i got this picture, maybe less. They had him come by the stand chasing does, but never did offer a shot. These two buck are very similar looking. If it is the same buck he must be on his way down. If not they certainly have similar genetics!

What do you guys think?





Man, the more i look at it the more i think its the same buck....

There's a VERY good possibility that's the same buck... since you said you'd never seen him or one like him before, I'm doubting there could be TWO out there like him?

I'd say it is too Mike. Not sure if on the way down is what I would say cause he's not done yet but he does look wider in the 06 shot.

I would definately not rule it out as that being the same buck...Looks like it to me!!!!

It it's not the same deer, they definitely appear to have some similar genetic traits.

If they're 2 years apart.....it's hard to tell with the angle of the first pic v. the second.

They look AWFULLY simialr though

I don't think so the deer in the bottom picture lookjs to have a lot of white around his mouth and nose and not in the top picture. That's just my opinion.
