Looks like the place to be!!!! I just set up on a live spring for early bow season, I too am gettinggoo0d activity andpic's from the water at all hours of the day!!!

The pond is pretty simple it's got a strip of timber running to it from the north and the south and that's really about it. It's about 50 yards by 75 yards and is pretty shallow as you can see.
My favorite water hole is about 400 yards to the south of this one, it's completely hidden in the middle of a bunch of red oaks and is absolutely covered with deer sign. I haven't put a camera there because I'm trying to stay out!!!

In 1978 it had not rained for over a month and everything was dry. I found a mud hole that was almost dried up and the tracks around it were unbelivable, there was also a spot where a rather large buck had dug in the mud with his rack, and figured him to be a 10 if he had brows.
I shot a nice 8 off that mud hole opening day of bow season at first light, only bad part of it was a friend of mine was going back to get my Jeep and had to pass my stand, He said there was one of the nicest 10pts he had ever seen standing 10 yards from it! Of course his arrow was in his quiver and had to watch it walk away.
