Slick Tricks are one of the few replaceable blade fixed heads that I've shot that fly with my field points out of a purposely out of tune bow.
Which is why (IMO) "some" people shoot them (and mechanicals, also, in general).

Is this a good thing?[8D]
Not having a tuned bow may not be a good thing perhaps, but having accurate broadheads has got to be a good thing, unless you are the quarry, IMHO!

Landon, Is 1" the largest cut that ST has? I have seen them, and agree that they are well put together and have serious bone busting ability, but I prefer something with at least 1 1/2" or 2" cut to maximize damage to lungs, heart, liver...etc.

***Sorry about your camera*** Does superglue work?

What I was eluding to formula......is the phenomenon where your arrow is not flying true.....but still hitting where you're looking. It could cause a loss of KE at the POI.....even though your arrow was flying exactly like your FP.

THAT is why I say that "some" shoot mechanicals as a "band-aid" to mask tuning issues. Not all.....by ANY stretch.....but with a mech......KE is so much more important.

That's all.

I don't really know that they fly better I was just being silly, but they do seem to fly very well. Yall need to quit taking some things too literally. I don't know what else to do. I mean im shooting well, i have paper tuned, though I know some of you don't think that's efficient, but the arrow flies well to me and it hits hard and drives deep into the target, what else is there??? IM not going to obsess about it, never have before and ain't going to now.

You are indeed correct, sir, and I agree with your analysis. I was simply aluding to the fact that the poorly tuned bow that some use is the issue, not the choice of head per se. I have found though some heads are rather pesky to get right though.

I'd be willing to bet you can shoot several different heads with good accuracy from your bow, indicating a good tune. BTW, good hunting this year!!

Muzzy's are so early 90's, kinda like MC hammer and C&C Music Factory, you should really move on. JK VA

You said it twice, that's the only reason I posted anything

As far as what's left to do ......... just keep shooting and get ready to fill your freezer
