Only see him about every sixth day. I swear he already is planning for his survival. Anyway, I always root for my fellow bowhunters to get the buck of their dreams. I didn't realize I actually had some believers last season.

All kidding aside though, I was only one hot Doe away from shooting the Buck of a Lifetime last season. The largest typical I've ever had in close ran a Doe past my stand TWICE..... but I couldn't get the 180+ class monster to stop! I had to watch that beastfollow that Doe around and thenfeed in the picked corn for over 45 minutes!I had 2 other P&Y class bucks come by on the same path that evening but obviously I didn't have much of an interest in tagging one of them. I'm at the point in my hunting career now where it's gonna take atleast 150+ inches of bone to get me even remotely excited.

Honestly though, a large part of my "trophy" hunting standards comes simply from the factthat now with my Kids hunting, I look at every buck as one that they could possibly get a shot at. This mindset has saved many a buck on my property over the past few seasons. lol ! My kids are still a bit young for bowhunting but they do look forward to firearm hunting with their T/C's during October Youth season and the November general season. I've been fortunate enough to take a fair number or respectable bucks with Bow, Muzzleloader and even a 12 gauge slug gun in the past but now I'd like to see the next generation do the same.

I had my money on Kcison last year but he let me down by killing one in Kentucky before he went to Kansas! It was still a great deer, but I was banking on ANOTHER 160+ from Kansas
