Might take a look at a Kifaru pack. http://kifaru.net/BACKPAKS.HTM
They are a bit expensive, but not really when you consider that it is custom made, has a lifetime warranty, and made to your physical requirements.

Have you ever tried a pack from Blacks Creek. They have some good products. Not to mention the Canadian (2200 and opens out to 3850cubic inches)pack withinternal frame,in the John Horn series or the Shockey series with the external frame. Yes, Badlands is expensive. But check out Blacks Creek. See what you think.
