Archery season opens Sept. 15 and runs through Nov. 14. Firearms season then open Nov 15 -25, and archery season then re-opens from Nov. 26-Jan15. Muzzleloader season opnes nov 28-dec 7. There is also an "urban" only hunt, around St. Louis, Kansas City, and St. Charles for 2 days in october, doe only. And, there is a doe only season for the northern half of the state in December sometime.
Archery permit is good for 2 deer and turkey of either sex, and I can purchase as many antlerless only tags as I want. Firearms tag is good for 1 deer, either sex, and again I can buy as many antlerless as I want. BUT, there are regulations on how many antlerless tags I can fill per county, and there are some counties I can't use them at all, both archery and firearms. Oh, and the firearms tag can be used for both firearms season and the muzzleloader season, no seperate tag.
Good and confused now?
