Which Quiver Do You Prefer

RE: Which Quiver Do You Prefer
I use an Alpine Soft-Loc 3 arrow quiver. Its easy to carry attached to the bow and quickly and quietly detaches when I get up the tree.
EDIT: I practice with it on and off the bow. I want to be familiar with how the bow shoots each way so I can be confident from the stand with the quiver off or with it on during a stalk.

Bow mounted.....and I leave it attached.
I KNOW I'm quicker (in the event of a follow-up shot) employing this set-up. That's the only reason. I've had to prove this a few times.
I keep shooting until I'm: (a) Out of arrows or they are (b) out of range. (in the event the deer is still moving)

For the longest time, I used a detachable quiver because I didn't want the added weight, and noise. I guess it's just because I got old, but for some reason I didn't want the hassle of either packing my quiver in my pack, or taking it off the bow every time I got into my tree. Then I had to hang it somewhere, was always dropping it......
Fortunately, working in a pro shop gives me opportunity to play around with stuff before I decide if I want it or not (not that we don't allow our customers the same curtosy, generally we do.) So I messed around w/ a 2 piece and REALLY liked it. So, that's what I've got now is a 2 piece. It's quiet for sure, but the downside is the added weight to the bow. Still not a huge fan of that, but for convenience reasons I'm sticking with it.

I dont like mine attached while i hunt. And it dosent fit well in my bow holder's on my stand's when on, and loaded with arrows. I dont like the fact that with the quiver on i cant comfortably lay it across my lap if i want. I like the fact that my bow is lighter when its off and that is how i practice to.
but that is just me currently an Alpine soft lock five arrow quiver.

Mine is attached and always will be. And for those who say the added weight is just too much, I'd bet that 95% of you couldn't tell one way or the other if you were blind folded. No added noise with my two piece, might even make the bow quieter because it soaks up more energy with the added weight.
The one negative that really bothers me, is when shooting in the wind, the arrows definately catch more wind making it tougher to hold the bow steady.
