RE: How deer use the perimeter of a lake?
Hoyt...my son just turned 4 and my daughter will turn 6 in September. I will ask my wife. I bet she will be up for it. She is due with our third child in a few weeks so I will just have to play it by ear to see how she is feeling. My son was picking up a stick the other day like it was a bow, and then hid behind trees as I walked by with two sticks to my head like antlers! He acted like he was hunting me! hahahaha! He actually was a natural. He went to the top of the hill and hid behind some bushes...I told him to wait until I walked past him and stopped before he "shot"...this just cracks me up as I write this!
I know Landon has kids as well.......about the same age as ours.

Scouted for a couple of hours this morning. Found one definite spot for next year. A terrain funnel that also is pinched by layed down timber....pinches the spot to 20 yards wide, and get this....the pinch opens up to a ravine that leads to the only easily accesible point to drink water within 500-600 yards. All along the ravine are oaks....I am happy to add another spot.
