OK, I took a few this weekend.
This one is on a ridge running thru my woods. There is a steep deep ravine on the East side.

To the East, it drops almost straight down past that big tree.

To the West, a ridge comes up from my lower field here.

To the South, last years scrape in the middle of the pic.

To the North, where they should be coming from in the mornings. I hope.

This one is at the top of a road the deer use to get to this field from the bottoms. The field is an overgrown hey field about chest high. One big 5 acre bedding area.


To the South. I saw lots of deer crossing here in turkey season.

To the West, into their bedroom.

To the North behind be, the lip of a deep hollow the deer skirt around. He will be close here.

This is the only pic I have of a stand set up, it is a new spot for this year!!! Tripod hunting, gotta love it when all you have is short trees!!!

I hunted this spot, once, in '07. TOO close to the bedding areas to hunt unless EVERYTHING is right.
