Hunting laws affect more than just hunters. It affetcs land owners,
This won't be popular.....but I'm a proponent of ONLY those who are property owners/taxpayers being able to cast votes. I don't appreciate the fact that people who have NO STAKE in matters (financially) are allowed to (help) make the decisions that affect me and not them.

When it comes to hunting, though......the fact that hunters pay license fees equates to them being the "taxpayers".....and they shouldbe allowed tomake the decisions that dictate and govern their way of life (ALONG with property ownners......or people paying the taxes on the land).

I also think hunters/(land owners)should have a more general say when it comes to laws passing concerning a sport they do on there own land.

The voting rights of some convicted felonsare restored upon completion of the sentence and parole they serve. My right to vote has been restored and as a property owner and hunter I am grateful for that and will not ever take that right for granted again.

To a degree.....I think you're right. Common ground.

For instance......If I own 200 acres of farmland within a municipalities limits that doesn't allow the discharge of firearms.......I think that's crap. There ARE tracts that size (and larger) in my town where hunting (with a firearm......INCL. bows) is against the law.

That is ridiculous.
