Appreciate any Feedback
Hello all. I was just introduced as a writer for www.showmeyourbuck.com .. a Virginia based deer hunting site geared towards regular hunters showing off their trophies.
Anyway, I was assigned my own section to the site (pretty sweet for an 18 year old!), Cody's Corner, and I just had my first article published a few weeks back and would appreciate and and all feedback you guys can give me. Don't be afraid to lash out on me either.. I'm very open to constructive criticism.
Just go to to the homepage at www.showmeyourbuck.com and click the link .. "click here for more of Cody's Corner" and tell me what you guys think.
I'd really appreciate it!

Rockinchair:
That's a good read. The thing I was worried about (pre-conceived notion that DID NOT pan out to be true) was HOW it was written (was it easy to read?). It is.
The only advice I'd give is......"maybe" ask the web administrator to format the article so that it's not so linear....and the reader doesn't have to scroll, so much. Other than that....for an 18 yr old writer.....I'd say you had a future in this sort of thing.
I'll give you an "A".....and admit I'm looking forward to the next submission.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I thank ya for it.
I'm pretty excited about this opportunity and want to provide readers with knowledge and information they can apply to their hunting style to help them become a better hunter.
So I have a couplequestions:
Did you learn something from this article?
Are you going to take something from this article and apply it come this hunting season?
Can this article help both the average hunter and the trophy hunter?
Thanks again so much for the input everyone.
GMMAT: I agree with you and plan on discussing that with the editor. The editor told me to keep the articles short because online readers don't want to have to sit and anaylze a long writter article, but the format seems to "stretch" the article out to be longer than what it really is. Thanks for the input!

I think it was a very informative and well writtenarticle. One a hunter new to deer hunting can learn from as well as a reminder to the seasoned veteran. When there is a heavy acorn crop, stay away from those field edges.
