Mathews, is this a joke question? c'mon, we all know mathews is the best.

There's 2 types of guys, guys that have mathews and love them, and guys who want a mathews but don't have one.

AMEN!
NO BETTER BOW ON THE MARKET THAN A MATHEWS.

They are both great bows. The Katera is about as smooth as the Vectrix, and faster. The Mathews is also pretty smooth - and somewhat lighter. You need to shoot them both and then decide.

I shot bothlast week and believeme, they are both awsome bows. Shoot them both and see what "fits" you best.
And do yourself a favor, don't listen to any post that attemps to dog on either bow or manufacturer! I currentlyshoot a Bowtech and I also own a Hoyt. My Dad owns a DXT. Anyone who thinks that any of these three brands is inferior is an absolute idiot. Go with what feels good to you!

amen

I bought a mathews two years ago, I like they way it felt. What made me appreciate it more was all the honey do lists I completed to deserve it. Yeah, you guys know what I'm taking about.

i know what u mean shes the reason i could only get a reflex instead of a hoyt

I was faced with the same choice recently. I love my Hoyt bows and in fact have purchased all of the latest model Hoyts over the past 5 seasons but this year the Mathews DXT won out. Compared side by side at the proshop, the DXT chose me. I certainly am happy with my selection..... it's as awesome of a hunting bow as any company has ever produced, a pure shooting pleasure!I can't wait to get 'er into the deer woods and the turkey blind! Either way you go, you're gettin' an awesome rig! I just liked the feel of the DXT a LOT better.

Good luck and good shootin'
