RE: What stage of deer hunter are you?
I just go out and enjoy the hunt I don' t think about it that much to limit myself to stages besides I hunt public land in southern New York State if I limit myself to a trophy deer the only stages i would fit into 90% of the time are the empty handed stage and the hungry stage #' s 6 +7 getting a trophy deer is only a bonus

seems to me like 4 should come before 3 also, but im in the 3,4 catergory, I like to keep track of all movements, i video deer all year long in my area and study teh tapes trying to figure out any thign i think would help me and ive got limits on what i would shoot.

I would agree with what has been said about stage 4 coming before 3 (that is, if they are in a " chronological" order). I am definitely in stage 4. I put a lot of thought and effort into my shooting, scouting, and hunting, but try not to put so much in that it' s no fun.

The personal responsibility, do whats best for the wildlife, what' s best for the habitat, appropriate harvest decisions, the caring whats best for the future of hunting stage....with a blend of stages 3 through 5.
