I try to believe in K.I.S.S.
I just hope you don't need to explain what that means.

I don't begrudge any one on what they choose to spend their money on.To each is own.But as others and myself previously have said is when you are relying upon things that are true gadgets you are setting yourself up for dissapointment and failure.
There is no substitute for time in the field and knowing the species your after.A good hunter will smoke a good shooter every day of the week all other things being equal.I think we all have gone through particular phases relating to some of these things. What you need and what you want of course are two completely different things.
Personally I am at a point where I don't need any thing in the way of equipment and clothing and I intend to use up and wear

out what I have before I buy new, that applies to bows, arrows, clothing range finders, gps's,trail camera's etc.Actually I may add to my two trail camera's from time to time because I enjoy using them and I have fun with them.
I see a difference between the hunters who buy certain things to enhance their already consistent success and those who think the gadget or new stuff is going to make the difference in enabling them to be consistently successful.
