You can have the Summer all you want..... I bust my ass all Spring, Summer and early Fall and have off prime time hunting season and hunt almost everyday from middle of October to the end of November! SO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! X2!!!!
Plus I have air conditioning at work and am more than happy to work through the summer, I'd only be laying on the couch watching hunting shows anyway.

I don't mean to rib it in VA, but I have off from September 30 to January 1......ahh the benefits of being seasonally self-employed.

I know what you mean vabowman....I work for 28 days and then have 28 off all year long....My wife is a school principal here in the town we live in but she only gets 3 weeks off...We leave for vacation this Saturday and will be gone for about 2 1/2 weeks...It is nice having the time off.....I really like the time with my family but also like the time when I am off and they are in school, gives me all day to play with hunting stuff...

If I had to do it over again I would be a Phys Ed teacher in either Montana or Idaho, and where hunting is a very big part of my life know it would be an enormous part of my life out there.
Throw the kids a ball blow my whistle once in a while.Play nice nice get tenure, hunt, fish ski, hunt, fish ski.Yeah that is a plan I would strongly suggest for the fresh out of college education major.
