It's all about the core/speed/strength these days.
That was just starting out when I was in college. We started to do "clean and jerks" instead of the traditional dead lifts. The idea behind it was to build core strength by stabilizing to moving weight as you lifted it from the floor to your chest then up over your head. We also just did power cleans (floor to the press position, then back down) all with the same intent.

Along with Captain Mobo thread on bow tuning, let not forget ourselves.

Try and walk a bit more, eat a little better and work that core. You will be amazed how much more hunting is enjoyable when your in shape.

I'm with you HJ,I just had a birthday yesterday that is my first one starting with a five.There are not many folks I can't walk away from on a climb,through conditioning and stubborness!
