OK....no 2.5 year old is a whopper.

disclaimer: This is only my opinion and how I hunt. As long as its legal, and doesn't interfere with my hunting,[8D] shoot whatever you want.

Guys I guess it is easier for me to think what I want to say but not type it. I have been on other sites and I see these 15/16/17 year old kids basicly talking about 150 class bucks like water. IE. I sawa 150 today or I haven't killed a buck with my bow yet but I am holding out for a 145 or bigger. I don't even know if they know what a 145 or 150 looks like it is only because video's and guys on sites talk about 150's so much that now 120 and 130 is a thing of the past. I know I use it to describe my own deer but these guys are just talking and it bothers me that maybe we are setting our selfs up for to take a fall because we all use numbers to much!! Does that make any sence??
Thats kinda what i was getting at when i said lots of people shoot big bucks by me. One kid i grew up with shot a 170" 12 point with his crossbow and he has killed a handfull of bucks over 130". It would be impossible for me to duplicate this success. Thats why i am going to try every year to get better and better just so one day i can hold the 170" buck and know that i worked at it.

I shot a 153" buck this year... If a 120-130 walks by this year...he's toast....LOL

I know what I like and I'll take any good buck or doe I feel like taking.

Numbers mean very little to me personally. I'm a W guy.

You chalk up a good buck for your region and you get a Win in my book.

Stats are for sports analysts..

I am truely about numbers based on the P&Y scoring system and as I shoot bigger bucks my goals change. If it happens to be a 130" 2.5 and its on public land I am wacking him.
Put him on private piece and he goes free. Right now for private land he has to be 140 or better unless he some crazy arse gnarly rack then he is dead.
Usually (Not always of course)higher the score older the buck in the areas I hunt. Goes kind of hand in hand.
Thisseems opposite in Jeff's area of course but still killing a older buck is kudo's to him and should always be for anyone.
I just love racks on deer and women.
