The bow needs to be taken apart to check everything. Get it on a press, and check the limbs VERY carefully. Run a cotton ball over all surfaces in both directions to catch the edge of any small splinters, this will make them more obvious. Check the string/cables VERY carefully and it may make sense to take them off and measure them. Pull the axles and roll them on a true flat surface to make sure they are straight. Last of all check the cams thoroughly to make sure they aren't warped, and that the bushings/bearings are true and smooth.

Well I'm sure whoever you sell it to will appreciate the fact that it was dry fired without their knowledge.

You will tell them right?

Let us know how it fared. I would be interested to see if anything is wrong due to the dry fire.

I dry fired and old PSE edge one time and had to send it back to PSE, I cracked a limb broke cables damaged the wheels and all other kinds of stuff. They just replaced everything but the riser, it was like a new bow when i got it back. Apparently there was alot of damage to it.
