RE: dont buy this relase
Get a Scott, I've had mine since my first bow, no problems at all ever, and its simply awesome, I'd say the best but I know some guys will argue that one, 1 sided caliper....makes sens to me, vs 2/jaw style....also $90 or so....

Yea scott is the way to go. I used to shoot a tru-fire or something like that and changed to a scott about 5 or 6 years ago. Never had a problem with it and they have a warranty so if that were to happen you could send it back and get a new one.

I shoot a Cobra I got at Bass Pro Shop about 4 years ago and love it. I believe it was only $30. Ive put thousands of shots through it and have never had a problem. Im not a super serious shooter, maybe 25 shots a week at most, but it has done me well and I can't complain.

TRU FIRE is alright,
I had a TRU FIRE and I got a SCOTT now I cant go back to the tru fire because of the night and day difference. I have just the regular scott caliper release.. You can get them pretty cheap. I think a good smooth consistant release is something worth the money.. I would get a COBRA over TRU FiRE
