If you are looking for something inexpensive, which it sounds like you are look at some of the Cobra wrist style trigger releases. They are not that cheap, but not real expensive either. Probably 20 bucks or so. There are better releases for sure though. Really good releases are going to run between $50 and up. Some target releases are in the $200 dollar range. I have a pinky triggered release I paid almost 160 for (and I hate it!) and my girlfriends back tension release with a safety was around 130-140 I think.
