I too am looking forward to a first kill on my new bow. Seems like i've had it for a long time, but its only been 5 months. I barely got to take in into the woods last year. So, hopefully this fall it will get its turn.

I'd been traveling so much for the past 2 years I haven't even gotten to bowhunt. Sold my bow to a friend. All my deer hunting the past 2 seasons was for about 4 days during IL gun.
So what am I looking forward to?.......All of it.
That and plunking about a grand on a brand new bow here in a few weeks.

Looking forward to possible retirement. Will have enought time in August but don't really know what I'll do at home. I still have ample time to hunteach fall. Get 5 weeks vacation and save most of it until season opens.

Just getting back out there. I'm having withdrawals and I've only been out of the woods for a month. Also, looking forward to trying out the new Mossy Oak Treestand pattern.
