Unlike a lot of you, other than a little turkey hunting preparation, I don't do muchshooting from the end of deer season until about now. I have too many other interests and commitments in Winter/Spring.
However, draw results for Colorado and New Mexico will be posted within a couple of weeks and the hunting starts August 30th, which is only about 90 days away.
Time toget serious about physical conditioning andshooting at least a couple of times a week.
I will spend 80% of my timegetting in physical shape and 20% practicing with bow in all kinds of terrain(uphill, level anddownhill)and uncomfortable shooting positions.
Anyone else getting excited and anxiously awaiting draw results?

I am waiting on my mule deer tag from CO, but I had a preference point so I should get one. I have land owner sponsored tags for MT so not waiting on anything there.
Honestly, I am more anxious than excited because this is a big year for me and my father since we are taking 2 weeks in 2 different states to chase elk and mulies. His knees are getting worse and the twilight of his elk hunting is nearing. I desparately want him to tag a 300"+ monster before he can't chase after them anymore.

Anxiously waiting for June 12 - that's when CO muley draw results are posted. We've got a sweet deal going up there but haven't drawn the last two years, hopefully our preference points will pay off this time.
