I do, they look good and like said above it makes it easier to take the vanes off when you want to refletch.
I never found that to be true.

I usewraps on aluminum arrows. Still use paint for woods. In either case they are just for looks:

I started usingwraps about six months ago - mainly to increase the visibility of the arrow. With the 2" Blazers, I have been cutting them down to 5". I also tried cutting some plain white ones in half - to 3.5" - this worked pretty well too with the short fletching. Just recently, I tried painting the shaft with regular white spray paint. Came out pretty well, and didn't add hardly any weight to the shaft.

How did that spray paint hold up?

I have some arrows that do have wraps but they hurt the FOC of an arrow.

This year the 2 dozen I've fletched up I left the wraps off.It just didn't make sense to me to pay extra for FOC shafts and then wrap the back to somewhat neutralize the advantage.

So far so good. I used regular Rustoleum in gloss white. Wrapped some masking tape around the shaft first, about 5" from the nock, and then removed the nock. Made the mistake of trying to fletch the first one before it was100% dry. But, once dry, the 2" Blazers stuck real well with Bohning Platinum cement.

I just think they look cool, I figured they might be a little easier to find after the shot too but looks was definitely the main reason.
