Ya know..I always take a second to look around the blind and in it before I make entry. I am positive that a yote or snake will eventually call it home, since its easy to get under....Speaking of snake, I saw a monster of a snake today, 6' at least and I have no idea what kind it was...but it was black and yellow..so I stayed a few feet away...
very cool, weve seen em down in the bootheal of misosuri, actually there was a track inside my ground blind once

Friday morning I was in my turkey blind and I saw a black bear. It's fairly rare to see a bear in the cental Wis area. I didn't get any pics. He was too far away for my camera. I couldn't see him good enough to get an idea how big he was.
Still no turkey[&o]

RE: black bear spotted
We have tons of bears in clark county we see many through out the year. dont think its too uncomon. bears can travel great distances. last week alone i saw 3. forest areas are being slaughtered so the bears have to move into farm country where they dont belong, but can you really blame them??? I sure cant. if we could minimize the amount of state and county forestry logging I think wed be ok, but thats not going to happen any time soon.
