I'd have to go with treestands......bought many junkers.....which is now I spend the extra cash, it certainly shows, I've yet to buy a cheap treestand that was awesome....though not always are the expensive ones awesome either.....but any awesome treestand I own wasn't cheap.
Bought some plastic/pvc raingear back in the day, in cold weather that stuff got so brittle and just broke apart, next year I bought some gore tex, which is still my tried n true raingear.

Ghetto-ass Motorola radios. I bet I've bought 4 sets now, and keep fooling myself into thinking that thelatest and greatestwill be better than the old set... They never are.

They all suck.
They would work fine if you hunted in a flat desert or were talking across an open canyon... But everywhere I hunt, there are mountains in the way - andany sizable land mass in between the two unitstotallykills the reception.
...and their "rechargeable" batteries... Ghetto. Don't get me started.
I've given all of them away- except a few that I keep for when we play paintball.
Thank god for cell phones.

Very spendy (275.00 dollars) hiking boots for the mountains, cabela's made them and they sucked!! Lesson learned now. I now buy the same boots I use for work and there cheap and last just as long if not more.

Close runner up would be a pair of battery powered heated socks. Nothing like sweaty feet and wires in your boots to spell comfort.[&:]

Hunting related....a knock off layered archerytarget from BPS (the red one with white squares). I tore that one up in no time. Bought a cheap bag target for FPs and a Yellow Jacket for BHs and am much more satisfied.
