    Depending on what I use they are either .001 or .003 straightness

    Mine are Vital Impact arrows made by sportsmans whare house and they are 0.003 straight.
    Well that's what they say they are, but I wouldn't believe it. Measure a dozen of them and I bet they are no where near that good from arrow to arrow.

    And I believe if they have a tolerance of +/- .003" that means the difference from arrow to arrow can actually be .006". You might have one arrow that is .003 over and another that is .003 under.

    I shoot Easton aluminum arrows that are +/- .002" measured on full length arrow and surpass the ATA/ASTM standard. The weight tolerance is +/- 1%. And mine are fairly cheap Camo Hunter XX75's.
