Is it really a redneck setup? I mean, imho, most hang-on stands are pretty simplistic. A platform, and generally a small seat attached to a frame connecting it to the platform. All of this is strapped to a tree. A climber is pretty much the same thing with the exception of the seat and platform being seperate. As long as they're properly secured, I don't see too much of a difference. If it's believed this is a much more unsafe method, I'm certainly all ears as to what sort of safety issues there are...that's why I started this thread in the first place.
lol no im jus messin with ya, there is no problem using it like that heck it would be more comfortable than using any hang on
