Default PIC OF TURKEY-ZILLA

i left this tom alone even though he would have been an easy sprint around the hill, jump and shoot. i did however fog up the window of my truck hyperventilating. lol

first off i am not posting this to get guided hunts. i thought this tom was too cool to keep to myself. last week i guided a hunt where the guy and i stalked up to 30 yards of this tom...a truck drove by on the road and the tom ran just down by us under us where i couldn't see, we crawled 30 yards and were laying in a flat open prarie. i told the guy to stand up and shoot him, he will be just standing on the left. we stood up... he stared the tom right in the face at 15 yards and was too scared to shoot, the tom was so big he tried to get into flight to get over the road and hit the top wire in the fence. gary, was just feeling sick the rest of the trip from letting that one go without a shot.

we have a bird that is a monster like that one, except there is no getting close to him. he will she into the woods if you stop on the road to look at him, and that is like 600yds away.
