I have used them and they worked as advertised they just don't penetrate very well. Both my buddy and I had trouble with pass throughs using them. Neither of us shoot real powerful set ups though. They did leave a wicked entry hole.

I have been using them for years and love them. They make a huge hole. I've never had a problem with penetration. Most of my shots have been pass throughs. Not every shot is going to pass through anyway, regardless of which broadhead you are using. I've lost one deer using them and that was my fault. I shot too high. I shoot the 100 grain while pulling 68 pounds. I don't plan on using anything else.

The good: good size holes
The bad: pricey to buy & replace blades.
Other thought: when taking a quatering away shot, the mechanical blade may cause your arrow to whip around as only the one blade is opening on the angle.
I had em, went back to muzzys, but am looking @ ST's or Rage.

How do they compare to Rage broadheads?

I've never tried rage, but I've heard by many if you do use them, go with the 2 blade and not the 3 blade. Is this true?

I've used the spitfire 125'sand spirfire XP 125's for the past probably eight years and loved them. Had great success, lost two deer, one my my fault with a high hit and other to this day don't know what happend, I hit a doe perfect, had the best blood I'veever seenand tracked her for over half a mile until the blood trail vanished. I changed for this coming up season to monotechs, just because I want to start hunting turkeys with the bow and spitfires are expensiveif you miss. I like the idea of being able to sharpen them and reuse, but if I'm not happy I'll be back to the spitfires in a second.

I have bought a pack of rage 2 blade and they look really good. I also bought a pack of slick trick broadheads both heads looks very good and very good quality.
