"Why dont you just have them fuse it on an angle, while turned ? Then you'd still be good."

DROPTINE.....that is some crazy/funny crap!

But for real Aussie, I wish you the best and I know you will be ok to bowhunt again!!!

Thanks guys.

As Greg mentioned even if I can't shoot a bow in future I wont be out of archery altogether.

I am just starting to make long bows and might get into making some recurves.

When I am ready to make one for real ( just using cheap pine at the moment to practice on)I will take a ton of pics and do a build along here on the forum.

Greg already has an order in for one he will probably get the Aussie Long Bow #2

I can truly empathize with you Aussie-guy. I have the same problem. So far, I've avoided the cut, but I don't know how long that will last. One thing I didn't see listed in your post as a treatment option are epidurals. You take them in series of three. Some people have the procedure once and don't have any more pain. For some it takes two or three procedures (you can have them twice a year). Obviously, it doesn't help everyone, but it is certainly and option. Ask your doctor about it. Good luck and I hope you get relief from the non-invasivetreatments.
