Octane is not a dealer only item. Unlike Fuse, Octane can be sold by any dealer regardless of thebow line they sell.

So you stuck a BH in the foam, but its not used?Sorry man, thats used to me.
I may have missed it, but I didn't see where he said he put the arrow into the foam. If it was put in the quiver with the magnetic hood installed then I don't think it would be considered used.

not in the foam. It comes with foam hood and a magnetic hood. I put one of arrows in the quiver with the magnetic hood on it with a rage on it and it was sticking out and I don't think that is safe. Man you should read.

Could you please do us all a favor and post up a picture of the blades sticking out if you haven't sent the quiver back yet? I also find it interesting that such a highly touted accessory would have such a shortcoming. It's not like the Rages have an excessively long ferrule.

Yep no problem. I won't be able to get back to where my bow is until Sunday though. I would be more than happy to post it for you. I will be turkey hunting all weekend and won't have a change to get there till Sunday.

yeah u should. All I wanted was them to return it and I would order a different quiver from them.

Here's a pic of the rages sticking out. Sorry took so long as I am in the process of moving. There's also a pic of how strong the magnets really are.

Thanks for getting those pics up. Hmmm, they do stick out a good bit. Honestly, since you just stuck the arrow in the magnetic part I doubt they'll give you any problems taking it back. I've dealt with them many times and they've always been reasonable.

Hopefully they'll give you full credit and you'll be able to find a quiver you like from them.

Let us know how it turns out.

I had the same issue with a fuse quiver. Got a 3/4" ID piece of thinwall stainless steel tubing and put a sharp edge on one end using a chamfer/deburring tool. Twisted it into the foam until I had made a little socket that goes about 7/8" into the foam insert for each arrow hole. The Rage now fit in there just about flush with no rattle; and my regular Montecs also go in there very securely. I did a Hoyt quiver the same way for a buddy of mine about a month ago with good results. He also shoots the Rage.
