The music, brother.. just the music. That's all I like. Just because I like the sound doesn't mean I like the person making the music. Heck, I like a lot of the stuff that Queen turned out, but that doesn't mean I'm a "flamer" like Freddie Mercury.
I am a Star Trek fan. All of them. Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise.... but I wouldn't cross the street to go to a Star Trek convention. I like the show. I couldn't possibly care less about the people. Does that clear it up any for ya?

I agree wth you they have some of the best rock songs ever. I was pissed when I learned about their passion for anti hunting.I sure won't support them by buying one of their CD's. Ted and Boston should go on tour together and see which group comes out alive...LOL

Goes hand in hand with this thread if you asked me, LC. I don't think the man is the message in the least. I don't agree with the political views of the Dixie Chicks....but they make some pretty music, nonetheless.

That's part of the point I was trying to make about Ted Nugent. I don't likehismusic. I don't care much for his personality, and I don't agree with his hunting style, but I have a lot of respect for what he does.

Personally, I think Nugent sucks in about every aspect. I don't care for his politics, his canned hunts, and his musical accomplishments. Amboy Dukes sucked, Damn Yankees was better but not great. His best music came when he wasn't in a band b/c his band members grew to hate him. Lets face it he has two songs(Stranglehold, Cat Scratch Fever) and after that they are all mixed together with the same solo renditions throughout every song. The only thing that I care for was a song called "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" and that was just for the name!

GMMAT, to put it frankly, I'm about as far away a Bush supporter as they come and this is coming from a former Republican. I also don't care for a guy who goes on stageat a festivaland bashes presidential candidates by pulling out an assualt rifle and telling the crowd that Obama and Clinton can suck on this. I find him tacky and ignorant.
