Liberty I Bow 20.5 inches from axle to axle
I bought the Liberty I bow; it is 20.5 inches from axle to axle. It shoots a regular length arrow, it is very forgiving and is great for shooting from a shooting house or in thick brush. Check this bow out at www.libertyarchery.com and try Mr. Howards 30 day money back offer. I shot a 350 Lb Hog with it and it went completely through it. It is a wrst rocket on steroids....

Why not get a DXT which is only 9 inches longer? Also if you ever wnated to sell, a Mathews or Bowtech would sell quicker than a liberty bow, and retain alot more value..

Has anyone, not trying to sell Liberty bow, ever shot one of these and had any positive comments? Should be the definition of unforgiving. I don't like a 30" bow, compared to a 35 or 36 inch ATA model.

I had one for quite a while and have shot them extensively. It is a hunting tool, and fantastic for just that. If you are looking for something that is lite, quiet, fairly fast, and can stack arrows in a grapefruit sized group out to 30 yards this thing will do it. It is not as forgiving as a full length bow, but then again, that's not what it is intended for. For those of us that shoot and hunt at things at close range, they will get the job done every time. I kinda wish I had one still to blind hunt with, they are perfect for that.

Thanks, Rick. I like the "minute of grapefruit"criteria for establishing maximum range for a hunting bow. How expensive are these little slingshots, and do they have an IBO over 300?

I shot one of those bows last year in GA. My buddy is a game warden and arrested a guy for shooting at his decoy with it. He said a bunch of guys were getting them to keep in there truck because it is really easy to get out the window.....LOL But it was a bear to pull back and shot really rough...Was very uncomfortable with it, but would make a great bow if I wanted to shoot out the truck window>>>> But if may feel different in someone elses hands, just wasn't a bow for me.... More like a sling shot w/ arrows...

They cost about as much as a regular bow. I am not associated with the shop anymore, but when I was still helping them out we sold them in a kit for $829 I think that included a custom case, sight, rest, special peep sight, all tuned and out the door. I think bare bow they sold for $650 or so. If I remember correctly, they had IBO specs of 305fps or so. I was shooting a 30.5" model at 60lbs and I think it was a 370ish grain arrow was doing in the 280's.
