Congrats, Greg. A very unique trophy you have there. I swear every photo I see of you, you're sporting a different facial hair combo

May have been a girl, but she was manly and carried "The Card"! [:-]
Kind of like the aunt that needs to shave???!!![&:]
Good job!
I see the stint didn't slow you down, kudos to that also!

I got a hen last fall with a smaller beard, only 1 1/2", still a little trophy.

Thanks.

The GF was getting sick of the Fu Manchu-Goatee thing and started giving me some strong hints! [&o]

That's OK, I was going around looking for permission and it works better if you don't look like an escaped criminal!

Thanks. I had a couple of scares two weeks ago, I had 2 ambulance rides to the hospital in the same week! It seems I had a reaction to the stint. It feels all better now. I hope it lasts! [:-]

Neat trophy. I had a chance to kill a bearded hen with a 7-8 in. beard back in 03", but the 2 strutters that followed her changed my mind.

Congrats on the bird. I had a chance to shoot one of these last spring. Wasn't completely sure of legality of the whole thing, though. Contacted the Division of Wildlife later and fournd out that, not only are they legal, but about 5% of the hens in the particular area I hunt (Southern Colorado) have beards.

Congrats! I have yet to shoot a bearded hen. We had one come in to the decoys this year with about an 8in beard but she had a double bearded tom and another tom with a giant beard with her so naturally we let her go
