Season opens Tomorrow for me in MI
This is what was in the field. Rough picture, but there are 6 hens, 3 Toms. The toms are two the left, they were all strutting.
TOOD is all I have to say, andthey were at is EXACTLY where I was setting up[&:]

Put one on theground Germ. I gotta wait to hunt again till the 21st so your gonna have to put bird number 4 down for us and I'll have to hit one outta the park in the bottom of the nineth. Good luck, go wack one. WCL

I have been wondering what you have been waiting for. Struck out again today. Going back after em tomorrow, and then next weekend will be it I believe.
I may take the boomstick next weekend if I don't get one tomorrow.
The thing is I have only had one opportunity to take one with the gun when I had my bow. These birds just do not cooperate at all. And I cannot get them to come out in the fields at all either. They just stay in the woods and walk the ridges and hollows.
