I think I have a new hunting partner (or I should say, an old hunting partner coming full circle) for this coming season. To top it off he wants to bowhunt. My brother, that is. Man, I have been waiting for this for a long time. I really hate it took so long. He has been a total drug addict for so long and now he is clean. I think for good. He lost his daughter back in Feb., and I really believe it was a major turning point in his life. He has expressed a strong desire to get a bow and shoot with me to prepare for this coming season. Any suggestions on a good new bow for not a lot of cash (300 to 400 range) would be appreciated. He has shot my Equalizer and really likes it, but I can not find one affordable loaded.

Any suggestions (serious), would be appreciated.

LT

Hey, glad to hear that! It's always nice when someone cleans up. I think that buckeye still has his allegiance for sale. You may check it out, for sue a bow that has been well taken care of!!! Good luck!

I can't help with the bow question but congrats to your brother. It's a joyous time when someone lost returns. Good luck to you both.

I willmake one suggestion...just get him a bow...

Most importantly....Enjoy your time in the woods with your bro....My brother is not a big hunter....however...I was over the shoulder with him on his first 2 bow kills.......they are the best memories I have ever had in my last 22 years of hunting....Bring a camera....don't forget the camera...

Embrace it!

Thats awesome about your brother

I would look around. I dont think it would be too tough to find a pretty good deal. Ebay, classifieds, etc.

Perhaps you can find a used bow package over on AT. They have quite a few offerings most of the time.

Even if you get a bare bow I could send you an extra sight, basic but good,I have. I even have a very basic whisker biscuit he would be welcome too. Pm me if you find you have a need for those things.

That's great LT!! My brother got back into hunting this past year after 10 yrs of not hunting, it is awesome!! I would look at the Parker brand, they seem to have really good packages for a decent price
