Congrats Matt on a beautiful bird. I love deer hunting, and turkeys can be some of the most frustrating animals to hunt, but there is nothing like that feeling you get when the morning is starting to come alive and a tom thunders off close by! Good job bud!

Thanks guys. Matt, I hear you on the running and gunning. It's still my goal to take one with a bow, but I'll never put down the shotgun for good. I got this bird by being extremely mobile, and that's what I love about taking the shotgun. Congrats on your bird as well.

Congrats on a great bird!

I also love to bow hunt, but I don't think I will ever permanently put down the shotgun for turkeys. It's just too much fun.

Yeah...excitement got the best of me I suppose[&:] It was also only about 10yds away[8D] In reality, it was unitentional, but he sure wasn't going anywhere.
