Do we..
Need to watch what kinds of things we say (on the forums), in fear that the anti's might get it and hold it against us? IMO, anything that is said these people will change it around for the worst, after all they are ANTI hunters. Do we need to conduct ourselves in a manner we wouldn't otherwise, because we are "fearfull" of them?

RE: Do we..
Kyle, in today's day and age I think we need to monitor ourselves in every facet of our lives including what we say on these forums. While we are a fairly close nit community this is a public forum and as such anything we type here can and will be used against us. Our admins and moderators do a good job of keeping the flock tended, but there is too much material on here for them to catch everything so we have to be careful.
The way I view it is this islikehaving lunch with friends in the company cafeteria. Yes, you are amongst friends and can let some off-color stuff fly, but you still have to mind your surroundings because you never know who can overhear you.

IMO, there is a difference between being pro-hunter and anti anti-hunters. As long as we comment on the positives of hunting and rebuttles to anti-hunting arguments then we are fine. It is when comments are made about how "dumb, stupid or wrong" anti-hunters are that get hunters in trouble. Do I agree with anti-hunters? No. But I also don't agree with conservatives. That doesn't mean I think they are dumb, stupid or wrong it means that I disagree with their opinion and will defend mine and debate against theres. Personal attacks won't, as they shouldn't, get hunters anywhere.

But, no matter what we say, they will change it to something it's not. So either say it, or don't....the end result will be the same IMO.

I agree with you Kyle, the anti groups will spin what we say no matter its actual meaning, therefore - why bother censoring ourselves. To be honest they'll never have enough ammo to take us out anyway. Product, Tourism, and Liscense sales contribute far too much money to the economy at all levels, and that's before we even take into account of the expenditure multiplier where our initial purchases are funding for someone elses job, who will take his/her earnings and spend! I read a senior thesis not too long ago that had data showing revenues collected on hunting related sales (product, tourism, liscense) through the multiplier effect contributed over $1.5 Billion to the state of WI alone!
