Default RE: Love Thy Neighbor !!

Well, half of the battle is having birds to shoot, so you should be OK. The other half is getting set up to hunt these things. Goose hunting is, or can be a very expensive hobby, at least initially. Blinds, shells, calls, decoys add up really quickly. But if you want to get a taste of it that'll be no problem. A friend of mine and myself have just about everything we'll need.

That's the fun in it: turning someone else on to it. I didn't have anything when I started. All I had was a gun! No decoys, no blind...nothing. I actually laid on a drop cloth and pulled some grass mat material over my legs and had some desert camo mesh netting over my face for a "blind". Talk about ghetto! but it only took one good rain for me to realize thatif I were going to do this any longer, and be fairly comfortable, I'd need something else. So now I have a couple of blinds and a few decoys and a couple of calls. Put this with what the other guys have and we have a fairly decent spread.

So, if you want to do this when the season rolls around let me know and myself and my friend will come over and put you in a blind. You'll probably wish you hadn't because you'll be hooked!
