It's not me, it's Droptine that has the old guy up at arms.

14 for turkey and 14& 17 for deer. I've been running the camera for a friend of mine as well. I got a good shot of him missing a really nice tom at 10 yards the other day! The bird he missed was the bird I went back and got the other day. We've been filming for each other when we can though. Whenever you're ready, my offer stands.

To be honest with you DT, I only hunt about a dozen times per year for deer. Just not my thing anymore. I'd rather shoot geese and chase turkeys these days. I have been hunting zone 17 for about a year and a half and I've hunted there maybe 10 times.

I tell ya, turkey hunting and goose hunting is about the most addicting thing I've ever done. They're both polar opposites as far as hunting goes butas far as excitement goes, you'll notfindanother type of hunting that's even close IMO.

Unfortunately I believe we all run into similar instances once in our lifetime, if not more...

I guess if you think about it, he does live there, and knowing there will be "firearms / hunting might make most people uptight", seeing he has kids and all???
By no means am I saying he has any legal rights, just as you have explained, but emotions tend to get the better of logic sometimes, and is probably likely in this case.

Good luck pal!

It looks to me like you need to show me how to Geese hunt !!
Sounds like a plan to me! September is the opening of the resident gooseseason but they just don't fly very much during this time around here. There's no need to. It's not cold enough and they still have all of the green golf course grass to eat. It really doesn't get good until November through January. That's when the migrators start coming in. Then it's non-stop!
