Anyone own a Katera? I shot this bow this afternoon and it was unbelievable.

The pro shop had to force it into my hand since I hate shooting low brace height bows. I couldn't believe it was as forgiving as it was and it is a very quick bow. It was a little heavy but had no hand shock when shooting.

I was planning on a Bowtech or Diamond but might be swayed after today

Yep, if people would just get over the brace height and try it, they would find that it is just as forgiving as shoot a 7-71/2 BH bow. It is amazing. I've had 3 guys that have shot mine and now own one. You'll love the bow, but there is a lot of bowtech pressure out there. Just get what feels comfortable to you, shoot all that you are intrested in and weigh the plus's and minusses!

I'm almost afraid to try one. My wife got a little jiggy over my recent purchase of a Vectrix XL. Going to have to sell one of my other bows to keep peace in the house.

I have not shot a Katera but just purchased a 82nd Airborne. It seems that these companies have made the low brace height problems of the past a much smaller problem.

In the near future I will be getting a new 3D/ hunting bow and thought I had it narrowed down to the Katera XL, 101st, or the Elite Extream XL. I got to play with the Katera and Katera XL today, and have now added the Katera to my list.
I must say I was impressed with the Katera even with the short ATA and low BH. The draw cycle was Joy for a speed bow.

Next trip I will make sure I have time to play with the 101st.
