Does it really matter if you take your time and make a good shot?

Which is going to penetrate better, an arrow that can push with 50 pounds for 10 milliseconds or one that can push with 35 pounds for 10 milliseconds?

Mt,

We can take all the time in the world but things happen, murphys law.

for those who do get the chance to hunt something other then foam/whitetails, just do yourself a real favor (an the animals) take a real hard look at your set up. Even the best of setups rarely will get enough penetration on a moose shoulder, with ribs 2" es wide you are almost surely to hit bone even on a good hit, god forbid a bad one!

That or the many that will, in their lifetime, get the chance to hunt africa. You' ll get a real test not only of your equipment, but all aspects of being a successful hunter....

I totally disagree with that 275 fps statement.

You really need to have 300 fps with a 400 grain arrow in order to be ethical.
