RE: Bows & Pistols
M&P...is sweet Dubbya...I played with it before I bought the springfield and just took the XD because I like the way it came apart vs. M&P..the smith seemed to have alot going on in the guts....BUT....both great guns..!!
If you practice and squeeze...and follow through with your trigger...you will flip cans at 50 yards...with a gun rest...

RE: Bows & Pistols
My brother had some fun with his and here's a little field review. He sent me this email:
"Hey
Just had to tell you a funny story. I hunted with Ted saterday in Culpeper where we hunted last time you were here. Long story short I ran into a group of about 15 good size hogs and got a shot at one with my 45 ACP pistol at 30 yards and shot low (I think I pulled my shot). I told myself the next time I hunt there I need to take my 357 mag better yet my 44 mag. I hunted down there today and didn't pull one of the 2 pistols out of the safe and I forgot to grab a couple of rounds of buckshot so you guesed it we were walking down that main road and there were 10 to 15 little hogs in the road about the size of a ground hog and a couple of good size sows. I put the creep one one of the sows got 20 yards away and put a 45 slug in her she spun and took of in the thick pines the little ones ran right at Ted and me and we cut lose with the 12 guages. It was quite a maylay when the dust settled we wacked 4 of them. That place is crawling with hogs I want to put a fedder up down there and try to get some of those big porkers! A long look in the pines and we were not able to find the pig I shot I might have hit that plate on her shoulder."

Isnt a grizzly tin the same size as a copenhagen?
ORIGINAL: Dubbya
Nice Mich. I just bought an M&P .45 in the dark earth frame... I've never felt so uncapable in my entire life! Put a shotgun or a rifle in my hands and I can usually hold my own pretty well... NOT with the pistol. I hit a copenhagen can twice at 15 yards out of a full magazine and was overjoyed.
I'm hoping with some practice I'd be able to hit a grizzly at 10 yards
