Default Range for Turkeys

I am wondering what peoples ranges are for turkeys. I am very comfortable shoting my bow at 40+, when practicing, but I have never shot a turkey with it. I am thinking 25 yards should probably be my max for a gobbler. What kind of limits do the rest of you have.

Personally I prefer 15 to 22 yards. I have killeda Turkey at 30 yards, but I was in a situation where I knew the exact range and he was in the wide open.

I'm setting 30 yards as my limit, in perfect conditions.

If I had thought about getting a license for one last year I would've popped a Jake at 30 yards.

My first bird was 32 yards. Usually like to keep it under 20.

i am comfortable shooting 60 yards when there is no wind. one tom last year was shot at 60, he ran 15 yards. i prefer to get him in to 5 yards for a show but sometimes i like to take a long shot. i practice shooting my bow 2-3 times a week on average all year so i havn't had a problem killing a turkey yet.
